Hi LJ,

To reload, or to reset and then reload, the module, enter one of the following commands at the ASA CLI. In multiple context mode, perform this procedure in the system execution space.
Hardware module (ASA 5585-X):

hw-module module 1 {reload | reset}

Software module (all other models):

sw-module module sfr {reload | reset}

Check this link:

HI everyone I just tested Aditya's recommendation, but it DOES NOT WORK
a re-flashing/re-imaging is required to clear the FirePOWER module, be informed ^_^

how do you RE- FLASH it is that an option ??

@jespinosa you can just do "sw-module module sfr uninstall".

If you then want to proceed to build it anew, then see this blog post for many more details: https://community.cisco.com/t5/security-blogs/reimage-firepower-module-in-cisco-5500-x-firewall-models/ba-p/3760395

Thanks , for all the information, that worked perfectly,

much appreciated !!

@jespinosa you're welcome. Please mark my reply as helpful in that case.
