Hello,
I have been trying to update Cisco firepower from 6.2.3.16 to 6.4.0-113, it gets stuck at 22% with this message Ext4 -fs with discard option and device does not support.
[211005 00:57:29:939] Starting script: 300_os/070_setup_partition.sh
Undoing any existing mounts
Command [chattr -R -i /Volume/6.4.0] failed (1)!
[chattr: No such file or directory while trying to stat /Volume/6.4.0]
Command [rm -rf /Volume/6.4.0] succeeded!
The active root partition is /dev/sda6
The new(upgraded) root partition will be /dev/sda5
The new root partition's temporary mount point is /new-root
Command [mkdir -m 755 -p /new-root] succeeded!
Does anyone have an idea how to bypass this?

Hi,
you didn't mention if you were upgrading an FMC or FTD but I'm assuming that it was your FMC, as that needs to be done first. Is it a virtual FMC?
When upgrading beyond 6.2.3 it's recommended to upgrade the FMC's memory to 32GB, the minimum being 28GB.
I would also upgrade directly to 6.6.5, being the "Gold Star" suggested release by Cisco but if you need to use 6.4.0-113 and it still isn't getting past 22% with a memory upgrade to 32GB then I would raise a TAC case with Cisco. They'll be able to look at the logs etc and determine the problem directly.
