I want to scan my pix firewall for open ports and for vulnerabilities. any specific tools any info..

Hi there,
when you google for port scanner you will get tons of links to freeware scanners.
I myself am using Blue´s port scanner (www.BlueBitter.de) and am quite pleased with it.
There are also several web pages for online testing. (Look f.e. under dslreports.com Tools and Tests).

thanks for reply , any how i already tried scanning pix firewall with Tenable NEWT (nessus for windows )
..but it showed only 2 ports are opened.. thts y im bit confused..wht should be scanned on pix.. and how to scan about open ports.. and on what ports pix accepts connections..
