Hi All,
I need to somehow create scheduled backups from a ASA 5585 running around 30 customer contexts.
the firewall needs to push the backups of the configuration to a backup server. preferably via SCP
i have looked at various options
1. EEM Scripting - doesnt work for multi-contexts
2. KRON - not possible via the ASA 5585
3. the 'archive' command - again not valid on the ASA 5585
4. the 'Call-Home' feature - this is limited to either Mail or HTTP methods
Any other ways possible?

If you are looking for a free solution i would suggest installing RANCID on a linux VM (http://www.shrubbery.net/rancid/). This software checks for any configuration change and if it detects a change it will perform a backup. It will also backup any other network devices such ar routers and switches.
