Send snmp when config changes

Hi all

 

I have an ASA 8.2 and I would like to know if theres any snmp trap that can be sent. when a configuration is made.

You could try the following command.

snmp-server enable traps entity config-change

This is assuming you have your authentication correctly configured as you would need your users to use the same password as their login password for the enable password. for example:

aaa authentication enable consol LOCAL

Please let me know if Im wrong, but this will only work in multiple modes? I have the asa in a single mode.

This will work in both single context and multiple context mode.  The difference is that in multiple context mode you need to configure these commands in the context where you are logging in.
