Sensors Not Registing to Sourcefire Defense Center

Hello,

I have a 5.4.1.9 Virtual Defense Center that I'm trying to register some ASA firepower modules running 5.4.0 build 764 that keep failing to register. The DC and the sensor have the same shared key.  I can ping the sensor from the DC and I can see two way traffic between the DC and the sensor so I know there isn't anything blocking the traffic between the devices.  The error message I'm getting in the DC is

"Could not establis a connection with sensor. Make sure the registration keys match, that the software version are compatible, and that the network is not blocking the connection". Any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

Hello,

not sure what ASA platform do you have, but FMC running 5.4.1.9 version can manage minimum 5.4.0.6 managed device(on ASA 5512,15,25..) or 5.4.1.5 (on ASA 5506/5516/5518) and 5.4.0.6 (on FP7000/8000series).
