show version and snmp sysUpTime differ.

I have an issue on a cisco2600 where the show version uptime shows different to the snmpwalk sysuptime. Any ideas?

This is normal as sysUpTime is a 2 bit counter. Thus it will roll back to zero once it reaches the limit (4294967296 timeticks). This equates to more than one year. Notice that your show ver says 1 year, 19 weeks ...

An ehancement request was submitted a long time ago (CSCdm72652), but it was closed for the following reason:

"32-bit sysUptime is as per defined standards and there is no plan to implement a 64-bit version unless the standard is updated to take care of the same."

So, to get this issue resolved, the standard would need to be modified by the IETF.
