SIP not working through PIX 501

Hello,

I have a softphone using SIP on port 5060. I check the PIX 501 (version 6.3(3), using show conn, but all I can see is the connection to the voice gateway on a different port (eg.29051). If I use the softphone on an internet connection without any firewall, I can easily connect through the port 5060. Why is this happening? I sought the bug toolkit but I cannot find any problem relating to this one. Can anybody help or anybody ever expeienced problem running SIP through PIX?

What fixups do you have configured on the PIX?

I have seen issues where the fixup protocol sip command must be enabled on the pix 6.3 trains of code. I can't speak to the port translation issue you are having, but I know that the fixup protocol for sip resolved our connection problems.
