Site to Site VPN Issue

Dear Team,

In our company we have site to site VPN,One site we are using ASA 5505 and the other side is ASA 5510.WE are not able to access the remote side host from either side.The VPN tunnel will up only the hosts from two sides continuously pings other times the tunnel will not active.What should have to do to keep the tunnel active.

Kindly give me a solution for this.

Try the following:

group-policy TARGET_GP attributes

vpn-idle-timeout none

do i want to try in both ASA,the command is for which purpose,could you explain as i am new to firewall terminology.

You only have to apply it on one side. But, it will affect all other tunnels on your ASA.
