SMARTnet include sig's update?

Hello all!

I buy CISCO 3845 with Intrusion Detection System Network Module and SMARTnet.

Can I take signature updates or I have to obtain additional contract for updates?

Hi,

You'll need to buy a "services for IPS" contract to enable you to get signature updates.

Once you've bought the contract you need to register the serial number of the module and then you'll be able to get updates.

You can always get a 30-day trial license meanwhile..
