Hi,
I forgot the community string (password) that configured for snmp.
When I ran the show run command, only asterisks were displayed instead.
Is there any way that I can display or retrieve it ?
Please help !!

hello Omer,
I belive you are using ASA8.3 or higher.. you can see the string as follows
more system:running-config
and come down to the snmp configuration part..
Hope this helps

Hello Omer,

Hi Harish,
It is an ASA 5520, and it shows:
snmp-server community *****
I'm not sure if there is something that I have to disable.
