SNMP for ASA 5510

I'm trying to install a 3rd party network monitoring tool, but it requires SNMP credentials. I would like to monitor the firewall. How do I set this up using cisco ASDM 5.2? Are there any security risks in setting up SNMP on the ASA?

No really risk to set up snmp, if you are concerned about people sniffing the traffic between your snmp station and the asa, you can use snmp v3, that is out on: ASA 8.2
