Speed 100, duplex full on Nexus 7 SVI or ASA v10

We have a ASAv10 in our environment which is connected to the SVI created on Nexus 7K. The ASAv10 gives 1Gbps bandwidth by default.

We want to set the speed to 100 for our customer as they are paying only for 100Mbps BW.

Is there a way to configure it on ASAv10, the FW only allows us to configure 1Gbps.
Alternately, I can configure "Speed 100, duplex full" on Nexus SVI. But wanted to know if there will be an outage or repercussions of changing the speed on SVI?

I think using the MPF (Modular Policy Framework) with traffic policing would work a lot better to limit the traffic for a particular customer/traffic:
