SSL VPN License for Active Standby pair

If I need to add 10-user SSL VPN licenses to an ASA in active-standby failover pair, Do I need to get separate license for each ASA in the failover pair (even if the standby ASA is rarely going to be terminating the SSL VPN users) to maintain failover?

I added the 10-user license to the active ASA and this broke the failover because there is a mismatch in the license; Active has 10-user SSL VPN connection and standby has default 2-user SSL VPN.

Hi Omkar,

Same license on the two units in active standby bfailover is a very important requirement on ASA, the license do need to eb sdame on both the units otherwise failover would not work properly. I would suggest kindly go through the doc and get more info about requirements for failover:
