Statics routes for backup on Cisco PIX

Hi. My question is the following.

It is possible to establish backup statics routes on Cisco PIX Firewall with IOS 6.3(4). That is, to create them with metric, something similar to as it does in the Cisco routers?.

Hi,

Yes. Here is the form:

[no] route []

So for instance, I could create multiple default routes for multiple Internet connections as follows:

ip address outside 192.168.1.1 255.255.255.0

route outside 0 0 192.168.1.21 1

route outside 0 0 192.168.1.22 2

route outside 0 0 192.168.1.23 3

Remember that when two static routes of equal cost are found, the metric is the tiebreaker with the lower metric winning.
