My pix firewall was running perfectly then immediately it went down and DMZ stop working . For troubbleshooting Whenver i give the command sh config it does'nt show me the configurations and gives me the error FLASH MEMORY IN USE ? How can we fix this problem .
This message comes normally when someone is playing with the configuration files but there was no one connected with the pix . Is there any other possibility causing this problem ? If yes then how do we solve it ?

Abdul,
Have you tried re-booting the PIX ? Let me know your result when you re-boot, also have you got any syslog messages that you can provide?
Thanks - Jay.

Hi,
It could be that the PDM session did not tear down on the PIX, and that this is holding the flash,if so, rebooting will solve indeed, but show session will show this also, and you could clear this sessions.
More important question in my opinion would be why the PDM session went down. Any idea?
Hope this helps,
Leo
