syslogging from multiple security context'es ?

hi out there

We have started collecting logs from our ASA's/PIX's to a central server - but we have a few ASA's running in multiple context'es - and there I came across a minor problem

The syslogging host - has this to be configured for each context or "semi-global" in the admin-context - or if not the one then the other or what?

And what about the syslog-level - is this individual pr. context or defined in the admin-context or what?

best regards /ti

Hello,

All of the configuration will be unique to each context. Therefore, you need to configure both the logging host and logging level in each context that you want to send logs to your server. You can think of each context as its own logical standalone firewall.

Hope that helps.
