The nGenius does not recognize NAM-2.

Hi~ everyone~

I have a nGenius ver 1.4 with patch SP9 and NAM-2 ver 1.3.1 with patch 3.3.1

The nGenius does not recognize NAM-2.

The error message as below.

"Device type not recognized"

How can i fix this error?

There is no such thing as a NAM-2 ver 1.3.1 and patch 3.3.1. The latest software version for NAM-2 is 3.3 and Patch 1.0

Make sure that you're not adding the NAM-2 separately using the Probe or Switch Tab in RTM. Add the Cat6K switch in RTM using the Switch Tab with the correct credentials/device type and RTM will automatically detect the NAM-2. You can then using the Spanning button to SPAN your data sources. P.S: NAM-2 3.3 have also a built-in Traffic Analyzer Web GUI which gives you the same functionality and works much better than RTM. Also, it's java free unlike RTM.

Actually, i want to gather row data from NAM to RTM.

I tried to gather row data..but i couldn't that.

The RTM couldn't get all data from NAM...

How can i slove tihs issue..?

You mean raw data?. That is stored in the RTM db and you need to query the db directly to get this info.
