Threat Defense Image Limitations

Hello ,

I'm asking about Cisco Threat defense image.

Many resources state there is still some limitations to this image, I tried to find a clear document covering this issue , but still can't find a clear list for unsupported features .

Are you using FDM or FMC to manage your device? In case of FMC a set of scripts is called to create firepower configuration and asa configuration for FTD (likely the same on FDM). Since the full configuration is applied for each deployment (no diff mechanism) this results in a longer deployment process.

Performance will likely increase over time but since FTD is quite new and stability and new features will take precedence I guess we will have to wait some time for this to get better.

I'm using FDM, and indeed I see that FDM performs deployment only of items changed since last deployment, but even this lasts ages.
