Transferring asa image through ASDM launcher

When attempting to transfer a new asa image over to the flash disk:0 using the file management in the ASDM launcher I get an error:

Error occurred in performing file transfer.

Error writing request body to server.

Anyone know what would cause this error preventing the file transfer?

What is the ASA hardware model and software version do you have and what file version are you trying to transfer?

They changed the file type around 9.1 and you cannot copy newer files without first making an interim upgrade.

ASA hardware model is 5550

Software version we are currently on is 9.10.1

File version are trying to transfer is 9.10.1.27

So a little background, last month we upgraded from 9.1.7.16 to 9.10.1. We transferred the file over using ASDM launcher with no errors, then proceeded with upgrade. So, I am not sure why we are getting errors this time.
