UserIDs are not being resolved by Domain Controller agents installed on PDC or BDC. Trend shows the domain controller agents connected successfully, but when adding users by name the filtering policies are not applied. Is there a way to monitor the logs of the domain controller agent to see why its not resolving the name to ip addresses? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi David,
On the device that has ID Agent installed you can get the debug logs.
To enable the debug logs, open the registry and enable the different debug options. Also, add a DWORD called 'showrun' and set it to 0x20.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\IdAgent

Thank you Luis,
However when I check the registry there is no "IdAgent" entry in that location. I'm going to try uninstalling and a reinstall to see if anything changes.

Finally determined that a rouge group policy had changed settings on our windows 7 pcs to not allow network discovery in file sharing and the "remote registry" service was not started. According to TAC both are required for the name to ip resolution to work with the ID agent. FYI.
