Troubleshoot NFS Backup of Firepower Management Center

I am attempting to backup FMC using the NFS remote storage device option. However, I am experiencing an issue. When I enter the configuration information and click test, I receive the following error:

mount.nfs: rpc.statd is not running but is required for remote locking. Either use -o nolock local or start statd. This error is listed 10 times and then mount.nfs: Connection timed out. Cannot mount NFS remote device, please verify the remote directory name.

So I try both recommendations.

1. The -o nolock local and I receive the following result. "Cannot create a test file under directory /mnt/remote-storage"

2. The start statd and I receive the same result as above.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Danny, did you find a solution to this issue?  I just ran into this after an upgrade from an older version of code upgrading to 7.0.1.  I lost the remote storage and the virtual HA connection between two firewalls.
