Hi,
I'm onsite trying to pull the config off of a pix501 w/o any usernames or passwords (lost). I have a console session that was left open, but the log is overwhelming my serial connection.
what command do I issue to turn off the console logging and will it work with so much data coming down the line? Thanks.

On config mode:
no logging console
or
no logg on
It might might when too much messages are showing.

in order to see less logs you can disconnect the PIX interfaces so that no traffic gets logged. After that wait some minutes and your console should start showing lo logs or at least less logs. Then you should be able to add the commands.

they wouldn't let me disconnect but eventually there was a pause in traffic and I managed to cut and paste my commands in
