Two connections to the internet from a pix 515

Is it possible to have two connections to the internet through one pix 515 (like roadrunner and a local isp)? We have two additional ports and I noticed that I can set another port to a security level 0. But I don't know if this will work or not and I don't see any configuration examples for using two outside connections. The reason I'm looking for this is for this is more bandwidth and a little redundancy.

If you want two connections to the Internet, you would need two default gateways (one for each ISP). This is not possible on the pix.

Multiple interfaces using the same security level is not a Cisco TAC supported configuration. You can use it, but it is nog recommended or supported.

I am afraid you will need extra hardware to support load balancing. Sorry.

Regards,

Tom
