And other question is how to determine value of flash.?

It has 8MB of RAM.

This is a PIX "classic" with 2 MB of flash. Been a while since I have seen token-ring interfaces on a PIX...very impressive ;)

Hi Scott,

could you give me advice how you determined type

and value of Flash please.?

thanks a lot jl

What, you don't trust me? ;)

Only kidding, I wouldn't trust me either normally but this time, I am pretty sure I am right. You can verify this information here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/vpndevc/ps2030/products_qanda_item09186a0080094874.shtml#software1

(look for the question, "Q. How do I determine how much Flash memory my PIX has?")

Hope this helps.

Scott

Hi guy,

I trust you of course, but I wanted to know

closer informations not only answer.

In our newer PIXs its better to recognize Flash because it can be wieved trough sh ver comm.

So thanks very much for advice
