Unable to access configuration tab in ASDM

Hi,  Recently I have installed ASDM 7.9(1) version on windows 10 but I am unable to modify the configuration(configuration tab is grayed out).

When I open ASDM it throws me below error message.

"ASDM was unable to load the firewall configuration. Please check connectivity to the device or try again"

Actually, it was working fine on Windows 7 PC with same credentials and same version and it is working fine when i downgrade the java version to jre-7u45(1.7.0.45).

ASDM Version: 7.9(1)
ASA Version: 9.6(4)3
OS: Windows 10
Java Version: 1.8.0_221

Could you please help me in solving the issue.

I ran into the same issue after going to W10 with the 7.9 asdm image.

Load the asdm image 7.12(1) on your appliance.
