Unable to migrate FMC from VMWare to Nutanix

I am in a process of phasing out VMWare and introducing Nutanix, as part of that we need to migrate our FMCv 7.4.2.3 from VMWare to Nutanix, however, there is no smooth migration path. So far, i created a new FMC VM in Nutanix but cant move the config file from old to new VM as it is showing model mismatch error. Any Suggestions from Experts.

you should build same version of FMC and restore the configuration and migrate to latest is advised here.

I built the same version but still getting model mismatch error due to different hypervisors.

Change the model definition on the target FMCv to match the originating one where the backup was taken. configure-model.sh can be used for this. Once you restore successfully, you can change it back.
