Unable to SSH into virtual FMC

After a coworker tried too many times with the wrong password, We are no longer able to ssh into our FMC instance. We get a "Too many authentication failures" message after we put in a password. A reboot of FMC did not help. How do I reset the authentication failures?

          To unlock the CLI and shell admin accounts on a Firepower Management Center or NGIPSv, enter this command at the OS prompt that ends with the pound sign (#) :
               pam_tally --user admin --reset
