Hello,

I'm have upgraded our ASA 5510's from 7.0.8 to 8.4.3 and now I just need to do the ASDM, but get this error?  The bin file has been uploaded:

configure mode commands/options:

  disk0:/asa708-k8.bin    disk0:/asa843-k8.bin     disk0:/asdm-508.bin

  disk0:/asdm-647.bin     disk0:/crypto_archive

ciscoasa(config)# asdm image disk0:/asdm-647.bin

Device Manager image set, but not a valid image file disk0:/asdm-647.bin

What is the problem?

ASA 8.0(3)

ASDM 6.0(3) and later. Recommended: 6.4(7).

Image is Ok.

Did you change boot parameters?

show run boot

Thanks

Ajay

If you have done this before rebooting the ASA to the new firmware, this is normal, just reboot it and it should be fine

Your command and directory filenames look OK.

Is your asdm-647.bin file size ~17,483 KB? If not, you might want to re-download asdm-647.bin from cisco.com and re-copy it onto disk0: (after deleting the current copy).
