upgrade from 7.0(4)E4

I need to upgrade both my sensors in my ASAs from version 7.0(4)E4 to the latest stable version.  Im a bit of a novice on this and I want to make sure I dont destroy anything.  Could someone lend some suggestions on the process and the best stable version to move to?  Thanks
