Hi,
please, could I upgrade the 8.0(5) IOS version to a major version?
Actual:
ASA 5540
1 Gb RAM
IOS 8.05(5)
ASDM 6.3(1)
This is because my secondary standby unit is reporting "LU allocate xlate failed". I don't understand why it is happening casue my current version 8.05 is older than 7.1(1) which is the version in that this bug was solved.

Thanks in advence.

The issue could be this as well:
It seems to be cosmetic issue, to suppress the log you can do " no logging message 210007"
Hope that helps,
Thanks,
Varun

Hi Andres,
Getting the error message does not necessarily mean you are hitting the bug, to identify that you can compare the xlates on both the firewalls. Do "show xlate" on both the ASA's, it shoudl be approx same, if not then it is an xlate replication issue, if yes then it might be cosmetic issue.
Hope that helps.
Thanks,
Varun

Hi Varun,
thanks for your reply! The xlate tables are exactly the same in boths nodes so I stay more relaxed.
Anyway, could I upgrade the IOS from 8.05 to older with 1 Gb...?
Thanks!

Definitely, with 1 GB you can go till the last interim of 8.2.x, it shoudl not be an issue.
Thanks,

Thanks Varun for your help!
I have disabled the 210007 message.
