Upgrading an ASA-5505 from 8.2 to 9.x

We had to put an old ASA-5505 in the field, and it turns out the ASA is running an old 8.2 version of firmware. It seems like years ago there was an interim version along the lines of 8.4(7), but that isn't available on Cisco's website. I found a non-Cisco article that stated you can go from 8.2 to 9.0(4) to 9.1.x. Does 9.0.(4) do the NAT and other command conversion? Thanks

ASA  5505 is end of life.  - make sure you going right version of 9.X ( some of the version required 512MB ram, ASA 5505 come with 256MB ram by default ) so 9.2 breaks your ASA).

Version 8.2 to 9.X  is big jump, many have changed from 8.2 to 8.4 and 9.X
