I was wondering if when upgrading from 8.2 to 8.4 if the NAT rules will be automaticlly rewritten to the correct values during the reload?
If not does anyone know of a migration tool that can be used to do this? I could do it manually but there are quite a few NAT rules and I would prefer not to have to re enter all of them.
Thanks.

The NAT rules will be parsed during the initial load of the old configuration into the newly booted ASA software. There will also be a log file written highlighting any discrepancies that may not have converted properly.
There is no offline tool to do this. Believe me I've searched and asked and even opened a TAC case about it. the best you can do is try it in a lab unit if you have one available or use GNS3 if you're really adventurous (although emulation has its own limitations).
