User-agent 5506-x

Hello,

How does the user-agent work on the firepower/5506-x? Is it only for monitor and reporting or can you use it to create filters applied to users?

In Firepower version 6.0.0, Firepower does support both Active (Captive)  and passive (User Agent ) Authentication. For more details, please have a look on below article. The article is related to Firepower Management Center but you can achieve the same thing with ASDM as well
