VPN boots off

When I log in with VPN, the Bongo icon turns yellow after about 30 seconds.

I get the following message:

Secure VPN connection terminated locally by the client. Reason: Lost contact with the security gateway. Check your network connection.

After the VPN connection is lost, Bongo turns green and I regain my wireless connection.

I think bongo sets up a private VPN to my wireless router which forces VPN to dissconnect but I am not sure.

ie. when boingo turns on, boots you off the vpn

when vpn turned on, boots boingo off

Any fixes or ideas on how to solve this problem?

This could be a packet size - overhead issue. Not sure about bongo but if the IPSEC packets start getting fragmented the gateway will see it as an error and drop you. Do you get IPSEC errors on the VPN log ?. Try dropping MTU size in the client to 1000 or 1100 and testing.
