Hi all. I have a user using windows vista 64bit. I know the normal cisco client vpn does not support 64bit OS. More windows vista does not work with cisco ssl vpn client. Hence can it work with anyconnect vpn client? I tried but it does not seem to work. Pls advise. Thks in advance.

Hi Collin. My ssl vpn works fine with windows xp 32bit platform. However using vista with anyconnect vpn i get the error "unable to process response from ...". Can i confirm if i need to upgrade my asa and asdm to 8.x and 6.x respectively to support vista with anyconnect vpn client? Currently i am using asa 7.x and asdm 5.x. Thks in advance.

The anyconnect platform is only supported on the 8.x ASA Code, so you need to upgrade to 8.x!
For more information please see the compatibility matrix:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/compatibility/asa-vpn-compatibility.html
For 8.2.x:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/compatibility/vpn-platforms-82.html
I would recommend 8.2.x as this code has more likelihood of GD (General deployment) status as compared to others.
Please rate if helpful.

We're using Vista 32 bit SP2, AnyConnect 2.4.0202 (latest release), ASA 8.2.1 (latest release), and we're still having this unable to process response error.
It's in the open caveat of the 2.4.0202 : http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/vpn_client/anyconnect/anyconnect24/release/notes/anyconnect24rn.html#wp1004448
