Hi,
I'm currently seeing an issue on our VPN Conc. the device is running the latest software. We have in the region of 1000 users that connect remotely. However, when monitoring the device via snmp. At no point throughout the day can I get the interfaces to rise above 2Mbps.
Our internet feed is a gigabit link direct to our ISP and we have NO bandwidth policies set anywhere...???
is this me or should this not be possible of at least 9Mbps throughput ?
We are currently graffing the interfaces utilising MRTG.
Any ideas..

What model of concentrator is it ? You might wanna check the max encryption throughput and max sessions supported for that model from :

As per the title.. it's a 3020 with 256MB ram.
The documentation indicates that 9Mbps is
a feasible connection speed. I have already scanned through the documentation and could'nt see anything that reffered to a max encryption throughput. Do you have any further info...?

In answer to my last question
50Mbps encryption throughput.

3020 supports 750 simultaneous remote access sessions, and yu have 1000 sessions at a time.
that could be a factor.

Oh and by the way..
we have 3 x lan2lans
and no more than 90 users connected.
but the throughput as displayed on our SNMP tool does not exceed 3Mbits per sec
