Hi,

Was unable to understand the various attributes described in the below cisco vpn concentrator log,

3 11/04/2006 14:37:06.680 cisco-vpn-concentrator 15847SEV=4 IKE/119 RPT=371 nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn Group ] User <"user_name"> PHASE 1 COMPLETED

Kindly explain in detail about the various attributes and their significance.

I would appreciate, if anyone can point me to a link(document) that will explain in detail about the various messages logged by Cisco VPN Concentrator.

Hi,

The message indicates VPN Phase I connection is successful. In VPN3K, Phase I authenticate the user's group and tunnel establishement (via IPSec SA) before Phase II process can take place.

Configuration > User Management > Base Group (or Group) -> IPSec

So far, I think there is no specific doc translating VPN3K log messages. But somehow you can also make used tool like Error Message Decoder -> under VPN.
