vpn connection to an nt domain

hello,

We have a branch office with 8 win98 pc's that connect to our network over the internet thru a pix 501 firewall via a dsl modem. As of a week ago, if any of the pc's are rebooted, the domain logon box comes up, but a 'no domain server available' message is rec'd. From here, no connections to any servers can be made(terminal server, web server, mail server)

As long as the pc's are left on, a connection to the domain can be made, even if the user logs off of the domain. Yesterday, no one could get on the network, until I restarted the pix, & another tech entered the new ip address into the vpn concentrator @ the main office.

any clues?

thanks,

Mike

Looks like the clients are not able to find the list of servers available. Your problem may need further investigation like checking the status of the vpn connections on the PIX and concentrator, or looking at the packets using a network analyzer to get further clues.
