What the function Configure monitor-interface on ASA 5585 mode transparant?
Can you give me explanation.

Hi,
It has the same function as it has in routed mode.
It will monitor the physical interfaces or the BVI interfaces to check if they are not down.
If they are it will trigger a failover.
