What version of Cisco ASA 5505 software do I use?

All,

I have a few ASA 5505's that need the software upgraded.  I am trying to plug holes and want to make sure I am using the best version of software.  Currently I am running 'Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Software Version 9.0(2) & 9.0(3).  I have looked at moving to 9.1(6) or 9.2(4) but don't know which is the best version.

Hi Ken,

Adding to what Dinesh has mentioned, It is always recommended to have latest version (latest interim as well) as it has maximum bug fixes.

You could also go to 9.2.4. However go to its latest interim 9.2.4-2 (asa924-2-k8.bin) which has been out for customers.

If you plan for 9.1.6 then go to latest interim which is asa916-10-k8.bin
