Where to buy or rent IDS appliance for CCSP?

Hi All,

I am currently studying for the CCSP, I have taken 3/5 exams and have CSIDS and SAFE to complete. I am working on the CSIDS and would like to be able to work with the command line. I would like to purchase or rent a unit for little money (if that's possible). I would hate to go into the exam without having actual hands-on experience. Has anyone had this problem and know where I may find a solution?

Your best bet is eBay unless someone makes an IDS simulator.

I did a search on google, and I really don't think anyone makes an IDS sim. There's plenty of router sims, but nothing for IDS.

These are not cheap devices. Additionally, there are licensing agreements. I don't think you'll find anyone who will "rent" an IDS to you. If you can find someone, best of luck and give me their contact information :-)
