Hi
We have ICS server installed for a customer using Cisco IPS.
We need to email alerts for the customer, however it does not accept the customer's email addresses because there is a '-'!!
E.g.
It accepts zhichao@scs.com.sg but not zhi-chao@scs.com.sg
Other Cisco products, e.g. MARS, accepts the '-'.
Can Cisco please improve on this? Without this feature, we cant turn on alerts for this customer. :(
Thanks!

I took a quick look at the ICS documentation, and I didn;t see anything there that would indicate that a "-" is an illegal character in the email address. I think that supporting a dash in the email address is a reasonable request. Unless someone chimes in on this thread with a bug id that this has already been identified, I would suggest opening a TAC case so that a bug can be filed to fix that.
