Hi everyone,
I'm having an issue, with an WS-SVC-FWM-1-K9.
The card doesn't boot properly, it tries to boot, but after a while the 6500 puts it in shutdown.
I've noticed that it has 2 RJ45 ports in the board, I've plugged my console cable, but i only get characters with the default serial configuration.
Can anyone help me debug this issue?
Do you have any information about the port configurations? Is the port "PC Console" the correct one?
Thanks
Rui
P.S. I can RMA the card, but I'm in a learning mode, I'm trying to solve this issue by my self if possible! Thanks!

Hi again,
I've managed to find a document, that explains how to access to the PC Console port and saw the outputs :
An internal error occurred. Specifically, a programming assertion was
violated. Copy the error message exactly as it appears, and get the
output of the show version command and the contents of the configuration
file. Then call your technical support representative.
assertion "0" failed: thread "", file "dev_ATA_fornax.c", line 386

Do you have any idea of what this error means?
Thanks

Baud needs to be set to 115200.

LeoLaoHoo thank you for your reply.
Yesterday before my last post, I've managed to upgrade using the maintenance partition, the upgraded stated sucessfully however the console says that error anyway.
My guess is that the CF is somehow broken, I'm trying now to create a new one and check the results
