I have a WS-SVC-FWM-1-K9 and it's missing the Compact Flash.  Do I simply download an image (ex: c6svc-fwm-k9.3-2-22.bin) to a new Compact Flash?

You would need to follow the procedure below to load the image into the new flash using a tftp server:

copy tftp: disk

FWSM2# copy  disk:c6svc-fwm-k9.4-0-15.bin flash:image

Source filename [c6svc-fwm-k9.4-0-15.bin]?

Destination filename  [image]?

And for ASDM image:

copy tftp: disk:

FWSM2# copy disk:asdm-622f.bin flash:asdm

Source filename [asdm-622f.bin]?

Destination filename [asdm]?

Writing current ASDM file flash:asdm

The status shows "other" and you mentioned the blade is missing flash.  Did you see it when you pulled the blade out of the chassis? If you need  flash we need to RMA the entire blade. We do not just RMA just the  flash.

You can pull the unit out and slide it back it and see  if it shows the status as "ok". The values shown under "sw" above  should have a valid FWSM os version or the MP version.
