we have 2960 WS-C2960-48PST-L in version 12.2.44 12.2.46 12.2.53 on all of this switch
when we do a show interface F0/X controller we got : in the receive column
591134842 Valid frames, too large
i understand that "valid frames too larges" are frames with no fcs error but larger than the mtu
do you know from where comes these frames ? how to trouble shoot them ?
is there a debug command to dump valid too large frames?
we have the same type of problem on port where router are connected or cisco phone or switch to switch trunk
and on giga port or fast-ethernet port !
the configuration of the mtu is 1500 on the system and on all port for all type of frame of the switch
