Scenario: router installed on passenger ferry, interface FastEthernet0/1 used for radiolink to be used near harbours, a PC running a service that gets geographic position from the vessels GPS and that will set "admin status" on or off on th interface depending on how near/far away from the harbour the vessel is.
When the service sets the "admin status" to off this will not stay in this mode. The program reads the admin status after a while and detects it has turned "on" by itself and thus have to put it "off" again.
Why does it not stay "off"? Is this a "known feature", does anybody have any knowledge of this situation?
