Cisco Catalyst 8000V Edge software virtual router is now available to customers in select AWS Local Zones.
Extend your SD-WAN fabric into your AWS Local Zones. You can use Cisco Catalyst 8000V Edge software virtual router in AWS Local Zones similar to other AWS regions and availability zones.
Traditional routing use cases such as NAT and VPN termination are also enabled while preserving the low-latency benefits of AWS Local Zones. See "Deploying Cisco Catalyst 8000V in AWS Local Zones" article for more information.
