Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Analytics, an integral component of Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN solution, simplifies network operations by providing granular network insights, predictivity, and automation that not only heighten network integrity but also deliver optimal application experience.
Below are some latest feature updates from Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Analytics.
Note: Since SD-WAN Analytics is a cloud-hosted SaaS engine, these features are available for immediate use without requiring any software upgrade of SD-WAN Manager!!
- Bandwidth Forecast is Generally Available: The Circuit Dashboard provides comprehensive visibility into WAN circuit availability and usage, including trending data to pinpoint downtime accurately. It also identifies top utilized circuits and the contributing apps and flows, along with usage distribution across TLOC colors. This feature has been available since Q1FY24.
Circuits Dashboard
We have now added Bandwidth Forecast which leverages AI/ML to analyze ingress & egress bandwidth across WAN circuits and forecast bandwidth needs for several weeks in the future. This will help network operators in capacity planning.
Bandwidth Forecast
In the above snapshot, the solid blue line shows the actual bandwidth usage and the dotted red line shows the forecast. The shaded region shows the range of the forecasted bandwidth usage.
- Threat Intelligence dashboard is Generally Available: By harnessing real-time threat intelligence from Talos, SecOps operators can swiftly identify potential security risks across their WAN and take necessary mitigation actions to bolster their security posture.
Threat Intelligence Dashboard
The snapshot alerts SecOps to sites that have interacted with untrusted IP addresses identified by Talos. It allows further drill-down to identify the specific clients and untrusted IP addresses involved.
