Find my router

The Find my ISRG2 router EEM solution uses the GPS coordinates on the ISRG2 eHWIC or integrated 4G on the 819 router. The GPS coordinates are placed into a google map API call and the map is displayed on the HTTP(S) interface of the router.

Requirements:

• 1.     External GPS antenna
• 2.     Turn on GPS via CLI
  • controller Cellular <number>

                     lte gps mode standalone

                     lte gps nmea ip

• 3.     Obtain google maps API key from: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/tutorial#api_key
• 4.     EEM policy must be updated with the API key. Replace API_KEY of this line in the EEM policy with the API key obtained from google.

• 5.     Connectivity to https://maps.googleapis.com from the router.
• 6.     Turn on HTTP or HTTPS server on the router.
• 7.     EEM policy creates a file on the local media (typically the flash drive) called location.html.  
• 8.     To see the location of the router navigate to: http://ip_address_of_router/flash/location.html
